Individual Therapy for Adult Twins
Being a twin impacts the way you navigate and understand your sense of self, loyalty, friendships, partnership, and more. My work with adult twins focuses on exploring and understanding your upbringing as an individual and twin, your twin relationship and relationships to others, and how these factors impact you, as an individual, within and outside your twinship.
If you’ve ever felt like something was missing from previous therapeutic experiences or struggle with feeling understood, working with a twin-focused therapist may be a meaningful step toward understanding yourself as both a twin and an individual.
Family Therapy for Twins
Jealousy, competition, high expectations, and feeling misunderstood are only a few challenges of being a twin. When communication is fractured, fighting persists, and you can’t find your way back to the love, respect, and understanding you both desire, therapy may be needed.
I will meet with you – both individually and together – to find the necessary path forward in your relationship.
Family therapy for twins allows for you and your twin to work together and through your challenges with a therapist uniquely educated in twin psychology. Repairing your relationship is possible.

Grief and Loss Therapy for Twins
Friends, family, and society may unknowingly diminish the distinct grief of losing your twin. The impact is deeply personal and profound due to the deep bond of your twinship – whether the relationship was healthy, complicated, or fractured.
I recognize and appreciate the uniqueness of your loss.
We may explore the deep bond with your twin, what survival means in the context of twinship, how your twin and individual identity may shift, and how to rebuild your life while honoring your loss. I will be by your side through the rage, laughter, confusion, crying, memories, and, ultimately, your healing.
Client Reflections
"I love my twin sister – she is my biggest support and loudest cheerleader – and yet we couldn’t stop the bickering that ultimately turned into damaging fights. Victoria helped me strengthen my communication style, understand my triggers, and build deeper empathy and understanding for my sister.
A combination of the exploration of self and practical communication and regulation tools shifted my relationship with my sister to the place I’ve always wanted – loving, supportive, empathic and as drama-free as twin sisters can be!"

"When I lost my twin sister to cancer, the weight of the loss felt so much heavier than what I expected. I couldn’t understand the strength of grief’s hold on me, and no one recognized my grief in the way I needed.
Victoria saw my pain through the lens of my twinship – she helped me see that I didn’t just lose my sister, I lost my twin, and that is different. She helped me navigate my grief and come to a place of radical acceptance that others may not understand the loss of a twin but they can support me. I am grateful for Victoria’s stewardship through my grief process."

"My brother and I didn’t even know a twin therapist existed! After our consultation with Victoria, we knew she was the perfect therapist to help us. After we both married our relationship become distant and conversations about our feelings of loss and hurt, ended in fights. We were at a standstill.
Victoria normalized our emotions, guided us in better understanding each other through a twin-specific lens, and walked us, step-by step, through repairing our relationship. I am so grateful for the tools she shared to help us find our way back to each other."
