How do I start working with you?

The connection between therapist and client is important for growth and progress. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to understand your goals, answer questions, and get to know you. After the consultation, if we both feel I am the right fit for you, we will schedule our first session.

Are sessions online or in-person?

I offer virtual sessions and a limited number of in-person sessions (NYC) for all services. It is my experience that video-based therapy can be just as impactful as meeting in person.

Are you an in-network or out-of-network clinician?

Accepted Answer

Like most specialty providers in New York City, I am an out-of-network mental health provider. While I do not accept health insurance for payment, some health insurance carriers offer out-of-network reimbursement to cover a portion of my fee. If you are interested in learning more about your potential out-of-network benefits, call your health insurance provider to verify your benefits.

Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services provided by licensed counselors?

How long are sessions?

Sessions are 45 to 75 minutes, depending on need and type of counseling seeking, and generally meet once a week. Getting to know you is an important part of the first few sessions. After these initial sessions we will decide, together, the best approach to meet your needs.

What are your service fees?

Fees range from $250 - $400 depending on the service ( individual, family, or parent coaching).

What is your cancellation policy?

I request a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule our appointments. Clients are financially responsible for the session fee in the case of late cancellations and not attending a session without notice.
