I understand twinship.

The emotional overwhelm I felt when I heard two heartbeats in my doctor’s office - both joy and terror - immediately shifted the lens through which I experienced my life. Every pocket of downtime was filled with reading twin books, analyzing academic research, and interviewing scientists, authors, and mothers of twins. My deep dive into twinship evolved from a necessity to a passion to a personal and professional calling.

My work is a synthesis of years of  studying twin psychology and translating it into real-world application, being a mother of twins, and therapeutically working with twins and twin parents. I am dedicated to guiding, supporting, and encouraging you in your journey of exploration.

Let’s discover - together - how twinship impacts the lens through which you experience life.

My twin-focused approach.

Twinship is often overlooked in the therapy room. Twins, uniquely different from singletons, can have a deep bond, and also struggle with societal and familial expectations, twin responsibility, and identity. Whether you’re an adult twin or a parent seeking guidance, working with me means exploring twinship through the compassionate lens of twin psychology.

My approach honors the twin bond and nurtures the individualism we all need to align with our true selves. I blend internal family systems (IFS), sensorimotor psychotherapy (SP), mindfulness-based somatic therapy, and family systems therapy to explore twin complexities with sensitivity and empathy.

The mindfulness of it all.

Our connection to our mind and body brings us closer to our inspiration, motivation, and inherent resilience and paves the way for us to lead a three-dimensional life.

My story starts with mindfulness. I spent twenty years studying, practicing, and teaching mind and body practices. I saw how simple movement, meditation, and mindfulness exercises shifted how people experienced their lives..

I won’t make you meditate (unless you want to). I will ask you to consider the sensations and emotions your body communicates and guide you to explore your parts from a somatic and cognitive lens.
